This is the story of Ruth, who we met soon after she lost her husband in a tragic situation. Living in a rural village, many miles from a town she could only access by unmade roads.
She was left to bring up her family of three young girls on her own. To make a home, feed them and provide funding for their education. A story that sadly is not isolated to just this small family.
To offer her aid would be costly for the number of years she would need to receive it. After discussion with Ruth, and with her Pastor and Church leaders it was proposed we make available a small loan. This was to fund her to open a business in the village.
