We visited the Children’s Fruitful Rescue Centre, run by Beatrice Marongo Omega in Kibera, the largest slum in Nairobi. On our earlier visit, Beatrice told us how the children had to be covered with plastic sheets to keep them dry, as the roof leaked so badly. Now hear her report on the new roof and nights of sleep.
