On our visit in February 2018 it was decided that one way we could lift educational standards at Greater Love School was to provide reading books to encourage the children to improve their reading skills.
We were greatly helped in our ability to carry lots of books when we contacted British Airways, who we traveled to Kenya with. Explaining our problem they allowed us to carry an extra 40% more baggage free of charge. Thank you, BA. This allowed us to collect from our local junior school All Saints and the children of Hesketh Bank over 1000 great reading books.
By April 2018 a small library room will be opened on site , it will be called Hendricks Place, in memory of a great Christian friend, Ray Hendricks, whose family have provided finances to build and equip this room.
